Legal Document Specialist
LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a proficient Legal Document Specialist to become part of a distinguished legal firm in New York City.
In this role, you will collaborate with a firm-wide team to handle advanced word processing duties, managing high-volume legal documents and pleadings.
Responsibilities :
- Perform high-volume, advanced word processing tasks including typing legal pleadings and documents.
- Utilize templates, perform mail merges, and work with automatic features and form documents.
- Create polished PowerPoint presentations using Word, PowerPoint, Canva, and Prezi.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions for data management and analysis.
- Work with specialized software including Kofax Power PDF, Litera Compare, and Litera Contract Companion.
- Adapt to and utilize other software tools as needed for various tasks.
Requirements :
- Proven experience in advanced word processing and document formatting, preferably in a legal setting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Familiarity with software tools such as Kofax Power PDF, Litera Compare, and Litera Contract Companion is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, especially in legal documentation.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Location : New York City, NY
Job Type : Full-time
Hours : Monday - Friday, 4 : 30 PM to midnight
