Description

Responsible for day-to-day management of complex projects conducted with collaborators both internal and external to Penn.

With mentoring from the Principal Investigator, the Clinical Research Project Manager will :

Clinical Research Project Manager A

  • Assist the PI and postdoc with writing grants
  • Manage and guide completion of the detailed operations of projects including regulatory, Institutional Review Board, recruitment, and administration tasks
  • Cultivate close relationships with community partner organizations
  • Help develop the team's research strategy and everyday research operations. Will be required to ensure that studies / research are conducted safely and according to protocol, manage and contribute to recruitment and strategies, provide supervision to educators and teams conducting the study / interventions and collaborate with and disseminate study / center information to funding agencies
  • Coordinate grant applications, progress reports, budget help, and interact with funding administrators, sponsors, and the CRRWH Business Office

Clinical Research Project Manager B

  • All of the duties listed for the research project manager role
  • Work with PI and Postdoc to write for publications, present at conferences, and disseminate study results to community partners
  • Administration for the entire Research Center for Maternal Health Equity
  • Work with greater level of independence and handle projects of greater intensity and / or intellectual rigor
  • Create and sustain connections with other Penn departments and outside institutions
  • Position contingent upon continued funding*

Qualifications

Clinical Research Project Manager A A Bachelor’s and 3 - 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Clinical Research Project Manager B A Master’s and 3 - 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, as well as internal and market factors and grade profile.
