Behavioral therapy targeting school behavior of youth (i.e. family, peer, school, and neighborhood).

Learn and navigate the MST model as well as apply MST principles and analytic process to systemic problems within client family’s ecology.

Conduct MST assessments including the following : review of referral information, identify and engage key participants, identify systemic strengths and weaknesses, and work with caregivers to assess systemic factors that sustain and encourage antisocial behaviors in the youth.

Engage primary caregiver(s) and other key participants in active change-oriented treatment by identifying and overcoming barriers to engagement and therapeutic progress.

Provide services in Teller County, El Paso County and / or Park County. Local candidates preferred.

Maintain clear and concise documentation regarding treatment plans, intervention implementation, advances and barriers in sessions, case outcome review, and strategize revision procedures using the MST Analytic Process.

Engage and collaborate with key participants within each system, to maintain consistency throughout MST treatment.

Participate in all MST trainings, supervision, and consultation activities.

Demonstrate effective organizational skills and time management to balance client needs with administration responsibilities.

Ensure case conceptualizations and diagnoses are consistent with presentation of client and documented behaviors. Demonstrate the ability to appropriately assess and address household, community, and individual risks;

and, able to ask for supervision with assessing risk.

Demonstrate the ability to use crisis intervention techniques and de-escalation skills. Cover the on-call crisis line in a rotating schedule with MST team.

Preferred Experience :

Direct use of pragmatic (i.e. structural, strategic, and functional) family therapists.

Individual therapist with children and adults using cognitive behavior techniques.

Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy services

Experience using various family therapies treatment modalities appropriate for specified population, utilizing strength-based and trauma informed therapeutic approaches.

Experience working in a team environment and ability to accept and provide feedback in a team environment as part of ongoing clinical development.

Qualifications :

Preferred Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or related behavioral health field (M.A., M.S., MSW, MFT). License Preferred

Must be able to successfully pass a full criminal background check;

Master's Degree (Preferred) Experience :

Clinical counseling, Community in-home counseling : 3 years (Preferred) Work Location : Multiple locations

Must have a valid driver's license with a good motor vehicle record and operating vehicle with valid insurance and registration.

Insurance coverage must meet program requirements in order to transport clients.

Must have sufficient language skills and be able to communicate both verbally and in writing to accurately and professionally implement and document the services provided to clients.

Bilingual - Spanish is a plus.

Must possess basic computer skills, Office 365, Teams and comfort using electronic record systems.

Must be able to perform and understand active listening, ethical conduct, complex problem solving, writing, monitoring, judgment and decision making skills.

Preferred Knowledge

Previous work providing in-home or community-based therapy services.

Social Skills assessment and intervention.

Second language (Preferred) License / Certification
