Description

We're seeking a dedicated Respiratory Clinical Specialist to continue the growth of our Respiratory Care team at Emory University Hospital Midtown.

The Respiratory Clinical specialist (RCS) is the clinical lead for respiratory care services with goals to enhance clinical practice and improve the overall quality of care.

The Respiratory Clinical Specialist assumes an active leadership role under the supervision of senior department leadership.

As part of the team you will lead the process of continuing quality improvement and will utilize specialized knowledge and skills that focusses on patient centered care.

Additionally, you will demonstrate mastery knowledge and skills of all theroies and practices in the field of Respiratory Care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Currently licensed as an active Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of Georgia. Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
  • BLS Certification Required. ACLS Certification Required.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in the respiratory field preferably at an academic medical center.
  • Minimum of 2 years of demonstrated quality and process improvement experience.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Care or related science preferred.
  • ACCS credential highly preferred. Masters' Degree in related subject preferred.
