Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with all relevant regulations and standards.
This role requires a strong understanding of construction processes, project management, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring compliance with project plans and specifications.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources effectively to meet project milestones.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations.
- Review and approve submittals, shop drawings, and other project documentation.
- Facilitate communication among project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members.
- Prepare and maintain project reports, including progress updates and financial forecasts.
- Manage construction permits and ensure compliance with local construction laws and regulations.
- Conduct testing and inspections to ensure quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- LEED AP certification is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction processes and related laws.
- Proficient in blueprint reading and interpretation.
