ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB :
- Plans and directs activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of quality standards for industrial processes, materials and products.
- Engages in quality control processes or procedures including product inspection, testing and analysis of products, reporting on quality to management, and approving or denying product release.
- Establishes programs to evaluate precision and accuracy of equipment.
- Handles moderately complex issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higherâ level staff.
- Conduct internal audits / PA audits to support and validate QMS.
- Other duties as assigned
- Attendance at work is an essential function of the job.
JOB REQUIREMENT :
- Bachelor's degree, and min. of 8 years quality engineering.
- Able to perform work under general supervision.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and / or mentoring to subordinate group.
- Technical expertise.
- Ability to identify and seek needed information / Research skills.
- ISO / AS9100 quality system knowledge a plus
- Problemâ solving skills.
