Description
Responsible for all system administrator activities associated with the Information Systems of the Health Information Management / Revenue Cycle portfolio and their associated reporting needs.
These responsibilities include a complete understanding of the Epic Revenue System as well as Cobius Audit Manager and Siemen Invision.
Responsibilities include the reporting the financial impact of current Utilization review appeals as well as the financial impact of post review audits.
The position responsibilities include the management of applicable budget dollars, contracts, vendor management, and the coordination of technical system application issues with Temple Health IT.
Additionally, the position is responsible for report generation, trending, analysis, and client presentation. Networking and management of various system stakeholders including affiliate hospital directors of HIM, vendors, affiliate IT directors, senior leadership team members, physicians, corporate IT and revenue cycle leadership is essential.
Education
Bachelors Degree : Health Information Management or Health Information Technology (Required)
Combination of relevant education and experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Experience
5 Years experience in Health Information Management (Required)
General Experience with data analysis and reporting in a healthcare setting (Required)
2 Years experience with Payer portals (Preferred)
2 Years experience with RAC audits and appeal process (Preferred)
2 Years experience with Utilization review appeals and post review audits (Preferred)
