JOB LOCATION : 4700 Phinney Ave. N., Seattle WA 98103 (near the Woodland Park Zoo and Greenlake)
Responsibilities of the LPN Charge Nurse :
- Provide medication and treatments
- Evaluate residents for changes in condition
- Monitor and report changes in patient symptoms or behavior
- Communicate with collaborating physicians or specialists regarding patient care
- Patient education
- Accurate documentation of care provided
- Supervision of Nursing Assistant
- Collaboration in developing the resident's plans of care
Qualifications of the LPN Charge Nurse :
- Washington state LPN license
- Outstanding communication and supervisory skills
- Ability to type and use electronic medical record
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
