Develop scalable APIsMicro Services and web applications with an emphasis onquality
Design build and maintain efficientreusable reliable and secure code using TDD principles
Supporting improving and sharing coding best practiceswith teams and internal developer community as well ascollaboration and stakeholder management with the broaderteam
Work in Agile team (Scrum Kanban) a passionfor Agile methodology but the flexibility to think outside thescrum
Requirements
Excellent knowledge of industry direction and trendswithin API and Web Services including Web applicationdevelopment
Development of complex API and microservices in an enterprise environment
Developdesign documents to meet both functional and nonfunctionalrequirements for API and Micro Services in an enterpriseenvironment
Design and code reviews to ensurealignment with best practices quality performance andsecurity
Lead problem resolution for complex APIand micro services issues
Develop CI / CDimprovements in the API and micro services developmentpractice
Translate application storyboards usecases and stories into functional applications andservices
Identify bottlenecks and bugs anddevise solutions to these problems
Participatein all scrum meetings demos / showcases with a strong voice at thetable
Think on your feet collaborate with yourteam and others and you enjoy taking ownership for yourwork
Direct team on modern technology andintroduction into core solutions
You have apassion for solving problems across all areas of thebusiness
Ensure the best possible performancequality and responsiveness of applications and services

Qualifications
University Degree in Computer Science or ITequivalent
Knowledge Skills &Abilities
Minimum 5 years ofexperience in building modern scalable API services and webapplications.
Leader in developing and consumingREST and SOAP based Services.
Experience withSpring MVC or any other Java frameworks
GoAnywhere process
Experience withJenkins pipelines and continuous delivery models
Good understanding of Authentication / Authorizationprotocols and general security best practices
Experience with Spring MVC or any other Javaframeworks
Knowledge of modern softwareengineering practices like Test Driven Development (TDD) BehaviorDriven Development (BDD) Continuous integration(Jenkins).
Nodejs architecture and experiencewith architecting and developing Nodejs / Express basedapplications in a micro services environment
Exposure to Git (Source Code Management)
Knowledge of Insurance industry & Guidewire is aplus
