Full Time Warehouse Fork Lift Operator, Shipping & Receiving Agent
Seattle Sodo Area
Internet based wholesaler is currently accepting resumes for full time Shipping / Receiving Associate. Must have forklift experience, and at least one year previous warehouse experience including receiving and checking inbound freight, pallet building and wrapping using pallet spinner.
Duties include :
- Stand up and sit down forklift operation
- Use of manual pallet jack
- Pallet & small package order picking and packing.
- Pallet building and wrapping using pallet spinner.
- Reviewing incoming and outgoing shipment
- Documenting damage to inbound shipments and inventory.
- Organizing inventory for easy retrieval
- Review purchase orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
- Familiarity with Bill of Lading (BOL) and necessary associated paperwork.
- Maintain the shipping / receiving area through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging items on a regular basis
Requirements :
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- High School diploma, or equivalent
- Stable work experience
- Ability to operate shop machinery such as forklifts, pallet spinners, and pallet jacks
- Great attitude, determination, and attendance
- Basic math skills
- High volume picking, and packing skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to stand, walk, bend and lift throughout the work day
- Able to pass background check
- Warehouse / Distribution experience is a huge plus!
Pay : $18 to $22 per hour based on experience
