Job Title : Senior Internal Auditor Issue Validation

Location : Remote (Must work EST hours)

Contract Type : Contract

Overview : Our client, a leading global bank, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join their Security Services group on a contract basis.

The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting regulatory and audit issue validation efforts for a significant project within the bank.

This is a hands-on position requiring extensive experience in banking and internal auditing.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Conduct comprehensive internal audits and control testing specific to the Security Services group.
  • Evaluate and validate regulatory and audit issues, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies.
  • Develop and execute audit plans, including defining scope, objectives, and methodologies.
  • Review and assess the effectiveness of internal controls and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to address audit issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Stay current with regulatory changes and industry best practices related to internal auditing and security services.

Qualifications :

  • Experience : Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in internal auditing within the banking sector, with a strong focus on regulatory compliance and control testing.
  • Knowledge : In-depth understanding of banking operations, security services, and regulatory requirements.
  • Skills : Proficient in audit methodologies, risk assessment, and control evaluation. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Certifications : Professional certifications such as CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor) preferred.
  • Remote Work : Ability to work 100% remotely and adhere to Eastern Standard Time (EST) working hours.
