Application Development Lead, Vice President

This is a hands-on Developer position in State Street Global Technology Services ERM systems, used by the business to manage risk.

We are looking for a candidate who is ready to work with new technologies and architectures in a forward-thinking organization that’s always pushing boundaries.

The ideal candidate has experience developing applications using Java / J2EE, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.

What you will be responsible forAs Development Lead

• Design & Develop Risk management applications
• Ability to drive change through collaboration, influence and demonstration of POCs.
• Responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including design, coding, integration testing, deployment, and documentation.
• Work collaboratively within an agile project team
• Follow best practices and coding standards
• Grow your personal skillset

What we value

• 15 plus years of experience in Java / J2EE and Web Services
• 10 plus experience in Springboot and Microservices
• 5 plus years of experience in Cloud migration and native cloud development
• Strong understanding of Cloud based architecture
• Experience in React.js or any other UI development tools
• Exposure / understanding of deployment practices using CloudFormation
• Strong Experience in Unix, Python and complex SQL
• Strong experience in Devops CI / CD pipelines
• Must have Credit Risk domain knowledge
• Experience in Integrating various risk models
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving skills

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Masters or B.S. degree in Computer Science or related field
• 15+ years of overall Java / J2EE experience
• 10+ years of experience in writing complex SQL queries
• 10+ years of experience in UNIX and Shell scripting
• 5+ years of Python programming experience
• 5+ years of experience in cloud migration or cloud development
• Experience working in a multi-developer environment, using version control (i.e. Git)

Salary Range :

$120,000 - $202,500 Annual

The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
