Overview

Join our rapidly expanding company in Provo, Utah, as a dynamic and results-oriented Director of M&A Strategy and Business Development.

We seek a highly motivated individual with expertise in acquisition strategy to drive our client's growth initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead the development and execution of strategies to acquire potential health and wellness practices and partners that align with their expansion goals.

As the main point of contact for all M&A interactions, you will build relationships with potential partners and represent the company in negotiations.

Responsibilities

Originate and Manage Deals : Cultivate relationships with potential acquisition targets, create a robust pipeline of promising businesses, and articulate our value proposition to partners and stakeholders.

Lead initial discussions to evaluate target compatibility and ensure strategic alignment.

  • Navigate Transactions : Establish valuation parameters, negotiate key terms, and conduct thorough due diligence to secure successful deals.
  • Foster Collaboration : Forge strong internal and external partnerships to facilitate smooth deal flow. Assist in drafting investment memorandums and maintain an active deal pipeline.
  • Drive Results : Provide regular updates to senior leadership on progress and ensure the team achieves annual acquisition targets.

Undertake other M&A-related duties as necessary.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Proven M&A leader with 7+ years of experience within the merger and acquisition space.
  • Demonstrated track record of surpassing business development and acquisition targets.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing multiple prospects.
  • Analytical mindset with a willingness to adapt processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High-energy, confident, and adept at building rapport quickly.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to achieving goals.
  • Collaborative team player with a partnership focus.
  • Strong work ethic with a willingness to work beyond standard business hours when necessary.
