Position Summary
The Senior Sales Analyst will perform research and analysis to identify sales opportunities, gather and analyze data, study the strengths and weaknesses of existing procedures, implement solutions, and develop strategies to improve sales.
Responsibilities
- Works cross functionally to create efficient and effective sales related processes.
- Develops and distributes analytics and reporting to assist field sales and sales leadership tracking of key performance indicators.
- Collaborates with Sales Leadership and cross-business and cross-functional partners to develop and execute strategic projects to help drive sales execution.
- Works with Sales Leadership and National Accounts Teams to drive best practices between leadership, operations and sales field and develop supporting systems.
- Develop and provide analytical support for business reviews for customers and sales team.
- Provide pricing and discounting best practices and support sales force with pricing strategy and rational behind corporate position to help facilitate positive outcomes in pricing discussions.
- Work with IT Developers to enhance Salesforce and processes on a regular basis.
- Optimize individual and team performance related to the usage of by working across multiple business functions to identify, document, and implement streamlined business processes.
- Develop and maintain an understanding of other related systems to make recommendations for company-wide system and process improvements.
- Develop reporting to monitor data quality and report Accounts / Opportunities with missing information.
- Work with Sales Operations team to create and publish best practices in relation to our products and Salesforce configuration.
Required Qualifications
- Motivation for self-development and passion for continuous learning
- 5+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing, and / or Project Management or 7+years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s degree
- Advanced technical skills (MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce Lightning)
- Excellent analytical skills
- Exceptional problem solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in analytics
- Experience in Project Management
- SF Certification
