Hardwoods Unlimited is a well-established and growing, family-owned flooring company, seeking a full time bilingual sand and finish apprentice and join our team.
The ideal candidate is someone who wants to learn the hardwood flooring sanding and refinishing trade, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering outstanding workmanship.
This position requires someone who can deliver high quality work while ensuring customer satisfaction and adhering to our high standards of safety and professionalism.
Knowledge of the Greensboro / Triad area is helpful. Key Responsibilities :
- Prepare flooring for sanding and refinishing, including assessing the current condition and performing any necessary repairs.
- Operate sanding equipment to remove old finishes and smooth surfaces.
- Apply stains, finishes, and sealants according to manufacturer instructions and customer preferences.
- Ensure projects are completed to the highest quality standards and within the allocated time frame.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including proper handling and disposal of materials.
- Collaborate with the sales and design team to ensure project specifications and customer expectations are met.
Requirements :
- Bilingual English / Spanish
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to lift 60 pounds or more

Starting pay is $15-$16, with opportunity for advancement in this role. Benefits : Available after 90 days
