What we want
The Regional Workforce Coordinator, under general supervision, works with leadership to plan, develop, implement, and coordinate clinical educational rotations for Texas A&M Health students at rural healthcare sites in a specific region.
You will collaborate closely with rural healthcare organizations, community stakeholder teams, healthcare professionals, and program team members to assess student educational opportunities.
This role works with local rural school districts on related health education programs.

Salary : Compensation will be commensurate to the selected hire’s experience.
Other Requirements and Factors : While this position will primarily be remote, some travel within the state of Texas will be required for outreach activities and coordination efforts.
Required Education and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, health education or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
4 years of experience in health administration / education, program coordination, workforce development, or related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
Strong organizational, communication, planning, and interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively to ensure understanding
Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Time management capabilities, prioritization skills, and ability to meet deadlines
Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Preferred Qualifications :
Proven experience in healthcare education or program / project coordination within the healthcare industry and / or rural healthcare settings
Strong understanding of healthcare clinical operations
Analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess needs, develop plans, and identify appropriate resources
Proficiency in program / project management software
Responsibilities :
Clinical Education Coordination
Works collaboratively with leadership to plan, develop, implement, support, and coordinate clinical education opportunities Texas A&M Health Students.
Coordinates agendas / programs for rural rotations of students at rural sites in partnership with local stakeholders.
Supports outreach teams from different schools within Texas A&M Health to implement school-specific rural opportunities and follows up on implementation of rural teaching sites.
Coordinates and / or conducts comprehensive assessments of the ability of rural healthcare organizations in the region of responsibility to provide educational opportunities to students.
Works with rural sites to develop affiliation agreements and faculty appointments.
Monitors and documents progress, outcomes, and challenges of clinical educational activities. Prepares reports and presentations on the status, achievements, and lessons-learned to program team members and stakeholders.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Travels to support coordination efforts and outreach activities.
Outreach and Marketing
Engages with rural healthcare organizations, healthcare professionals, relevant stakeholders, and Texas A&M Health schools to disseminate program information specific to each schools’ rural initiatives.
Advocates and communicates remote educational opportunities for the upskilling of healthcare workers in rural areas.
Seeks opportunities to partner with local ISDs in the region to support K 12 pathways in health care.
Knowledge Sharing and Collaboration
Facilitates knowledge-sharing sessions, workshops, and forums among rural hospitals within the region.
Encourages collaboration and peer learning, promoting the exchange of best practices, lessons learned, and resources.
Contributes to the development of guidelines, tools, and resources to support ongoing efforts.
