THE JOB :
The Group Dining & Events Manager promotes the hotel for corporate, social, and special events, coordinating all details of group bookings and serving as the primary client liaison.
This role provides strategic leadership to the sales team and represents the team within the hotel, to clients, and across Bellagio & Park MGM, ensuring all activities align with departmental policies and procedures.
THE DAY TO DAY :
- Secure and develop business with key clients, focusing on conventions and social events.
- Manage multiple contract negotiations to maximize revenue and profit.
- Actively solicit new business through various channels.
- Achieve individual and team revenue goals.
- Conduct site tours and client meetings.
- Coordinate with operations and culinary teams for event execution.
- Build partnerships with DMCs, wedding planners, and vendors.
- Collaborate with Catering Sales Team to cross-sell venues.
- Develop event calendars and key dates.
- Maintain positive client relationships and respond promptly.
- Negotiate contracts and develop proposals.
- Oversee team development and ensure policy compliance.
A CANDIDATE WILL HAVE :
Luxury Hotel or Luxury Resort experience
TripleSeat EMS (Event Management System) experience
7Rooms experience
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
- 2+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience
