CoreCONNECT is our cutting-edge new core system that powers the digital experience of agents, end-customers, and carrier personnel.

CoreCONNECT integrates advanced data assimilation and process orchestration frameworks into a unified platform that tackles the inherent challenges of providing digital life insurance transactions over complex backend software infrastructure.

It makes it easy to deliver a high-performance API for a carrier’s entire business, which has been unattainable for carriers until now.

Your Role as a Valued Team Member

As the Director of Enterprise Architecture, you will report to the SVP of Customer Success and work closely with the CTO, Delivery, Sales, and Product Teams as you provide technical and project leadership in delivering CoreCONNECT.

Our integration projects are complex, strategic, and involve interaction with our customers’ senior executives. This role requires both technical oversight of the implementation and project leadership to help carriers make broader architecture choices and align CoreCONNECT into the carrier’s overall technical environment.

You will be involved in scoping and solution design during the sales process from implementation, defining the playbook to go-live.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Lead customer work streams for people, process, and technology.
• Drive project success by aligning customer stakeholders, navigating constraints, interpersonal dynamics, and sources of friction.
• Design customer solution (resourcing, technology, integration), transition and transformation program, based on repeatable IP and assets.
• Collaborate on complex customer requirements with internal and external stakeholders.
• Contribute towards the design of a specific customer implementation over the development lifecycle with a particular focus on delivery components.
• Support the Delivery Team with the implementation of the technical solution.
• Make complex decisions over the right solution for the customer factoring in delivery capabilities, available data, advancements in technology, and expected market developments.
• Lead due diligence exercises pre and post-contract by analyzing complex data to drive commercial decisions in the best interest of the customer.
• Work closely with system integrators and other partners.
• Identify and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, project detractors, and other roadblocks to success.
• Willingness to travel to client sites for team meetings.

Experience Needed to Qualify

• Minimum 10+ years of work-related experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Development, or a related field.
• Experience in developing complex integrated technical solutions involving vendor software across the development lifecycle.
• Experience building customer solutions using existing assets and capabilities including alliances.
• Problem-solving skills, costing, and technology-based solutions with deals and offerings.
• Industry knowledge across different technologies, especially in Cloud / SaaS / PaaS solutions and the role of IT in digital change.
• Experience in Life & Annuity Technology Solutions (preferably policy administration systems) is strongly preferred.

• Understanding of Design Thinking and Agile Methodology.
• Experience in application architecture, IT strategy, and enterprise architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
