SMV Recruiting has an immediate opening for two experienced 3rd Shift Process Technicians in Concord, NC. We are looking for someone for injectuin molding team.
The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience working as a process technician on a manufacturing plant floor with automation.

We are currently looking to hire for all shifts.
Responsibilities :
- Troubleshoot automated plastic injection molding equipment, robots and EOAT problems
- Adjust machine parameters to achieve optimal output and quality
- Perform mold changes, start ups and quality control checks
- Write recipe / formula for plastic end products (hold times, plasticizers, parts,
- Balance and drill out hot runner systems as needed
- Repair equipment
- Coordinate with maintenance staff and engineers to address machine malfunctions
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines
Requirements :
- 3-5 years of manufacturing experience
- 3+ years of plastic extrusion experience
- 2+ years of hard automation / highly customized machines (grippers, air cylinders, slides) strongly desired
- Be familiar with plastic defects (blush, short shots,
- Experience writing requirements from scratch
- Forklift certification
- Must have a very high mechanical / electrical aptitude
- Understanding of PLC equipment
- Software experience with ASI System and NCR database
