The CarolinaCard Office is seeking a student to work for the 2024-25 academic year as a Digital Marketing Content Creator, supporting the marketing team with initiatives.
The duties and responsibilities are listed below :
Creative Strategy Implementation : Work closely with the marketing team to devise and enact a content strategy that not only aligns with the University’s brand objectives but also amplifies engagement.
Audience Engagement : Take the helm to interact with our followers and collect audience insights to refine future content strategies.
Content Coordination Across Platforms : Ensure a harmonious content strategy across various social media platforms to maintain brand consistency and enhance our reach.
Create visually stunning photo and video content that resonates with our audience and aligns with our brand voice and values.
Conceptualize, shoot, edit, and distribute high-quality videos for use on digital platforms, including social media, websites, and other promotional materials.
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, design, and digital operations, to ensure a seamless integration of visual content into broader campaigns.
Stay informed about visual trends in photography and videography, industry updates, and content marketing best practices to incorporate fresh and innovative ideas into visual content creation that align with marketing strategies.
Execute photo and video productions featuring both internal employees and hired actors.
Shoot photo and video content using quality production gear, staging sets using professional lighting equipment and audio equipment.
Cast and direct a diverse range of models during conception and production.
Create prototypes and proof of concepts to quickly validate video and photo ideas.
Maintain and organize visual media content libraries.
Design rudimentary graphics / animations that enhance media projects and campaigns.
Think critically about overall strategy, key messaging and content design based on key markets and audiences.
Be informed on University news and ongoing projects to ideate, introduce unique story concepts, and leverage online content development opportunities.
Be comfortable in front of the camera to interview fellow students for any and all production needs.
Qualifications :
Minimum Qualifications :
Majoring or Minoring in Media Arts, Marketing, Mass Communications, Theatre, or Film and Media Studies.
- Experience in Photoshop.
- Have a fundamental understanding of marketing and how social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Facebook, etc.) are constructed.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Have excellent organizational skills.
- Be detailed-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications :
Have experience in video editing in Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro X, or on an iPhone
