We have three behavioral health units : cardiac telemetry, and critical care service lines. Our Haverhill campus offers all private rooms, and our Methuen campus offers a new state-of-the-art catheterization suite and Joint Center of Excellence, named as a Blue Cross Blue Shield Blue Distinction+ Center for Knee and Hip Replacement.

Position Summary : FT, 40 hours 8 : 30am-5pm Pediactic Health

Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly preferred for large multicultural practice.

Summary :

Performs a variety of computer, clerical, and supply functions necessary for the operation of the practice. Handles and controlling written and verbal communications between practice personnel and numerous physicians, ancillary services, patients, visitors, and families.

Responsibilities :

• Acts as a liaison between patient, hospital personnel, visitors, and ancillary departments.
• Performs all clerical functions within the department.
• Transcribes all written physician orders accurately, including but not limited to transcribing medication to the MAR for review by the Rn.
• Demonstrated independent judgement in prioritizing multiple or complex physician orders, identifying and communicating pertinent information to the appropriate nursing staff.
• Arranges for ambulance transportation for patients, books a transfer to another facility.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications :

• Education : High School graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Experience : Previous medical secretary experience preferred.
• Other : Bilingual in English and Spanish highly preferred.
