The General Manager role is an exciting opportunity where you'll operate the Clemson, SC location. This position oversees all operations within the health club, manages and leads the team in acquiring production goals that meet the business's financial needs for growth, ensures the highest quality of service for our members, works directly with the Assistant Manager on a daily basis to supervise the sales team, and creates a fun work environment for our employees and members.
So, who are we looking for?
Someone that has Health Club Management Experience.
While this is not a deal-breaker, it is preferred.
Someone who understands and thrives in production-based business.
- At the end of the day, numbers are what matter.
- You MUST be comfortable in coaching others and motivating a sales team. Therefore, sales experience is a plus.
- You will be coached and have the tools to get you started, but at the end of the day you must be very good at getting things done.
Someone that is competitive by nature.
- You work hard and go straight for the goal.
- You strive for growth and success.
- We are NOT looking for someone that needs to constantly be managed or is only able to do what exactly what theyre told and exactly how to do it.
Someone that is assertive but also a team player.
- You arent afraid to take charge.
- You are not only willing to turn plans into actions but are also take suggestions and brainstorm with your team for move forward with our common goals.
- As the leader of a team, you must inspire confidence, optimism, and trust with those around you. This means that a certain level of social intelligence is involved, as you will be working with many different personality types on staff and with members.
