Clinical Resource Nurse (RN) - Behavioral Health Setting

Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs.

The Resource Nurse provides professional nursing care in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of Highlands Behavioral Health System.

The Resource Nurse is accountable for assigned nursing care activities on a shift basis and is responsible for promoting and enhancing professional nursing practice, as coordinated by the Nurse Manager and House Supervisor.

The primary duties of the Resource Nurse are to assist in the admissions and discharge flow process on all units. This position will also be responsible for assisting with visitation, responding to codes and assisting on the floor when needed.

Shift Hours : Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (12p - 10 : 30p)

Shift Differential Pay : Up to $7.00 / hour

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse through the State of Colorado Board of Registered Nursing (or eligible to receive or renew).
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or baccalaureate program.
• Clinical experience in psychiatric setting preferred.
