Intelligence Collection Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME)
This position requires an active TS / Sensitive Compartmental Information (SCI) clearance.
Cherokee Preting seeks an exceptionally qualified Intelligence Collection Manager Expert to support USSOCOM.
Intelligence Collection Manager (SME) shall focus on all issues pertaining to collection and production management, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater and national-level coordination and other issues.
Employees must maintain global readiness and be available to deploy on a no-notice basis to hazardous duty / combat zones.
Deployments may be to a theater of operations with permissive, uncertain, or hostile environments while living in austere conditions for extended periods.

Intelligence Collection Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME) Responsibilities Include :
- Serve as a lead Collection Manager for special projects and assignments. Develops, plans, supports, and provides guidance, assistance and have oversight on all intelligence collections and production management functions, projects and activities to include training.
- Perform Intelligence Collection management duties for routine, Special Access Program (SAP) and compartmented projects, operations, and exercises for all intelligence disciplines.
- Develop collection plans / strategies, establishes priorities for collection and routinely assists the day-to-day activities of the command collection management activities.
- Coordinate with appropriate national Intelligence Agencies, Combatant Command Joint Intelligence Centers, and Service Production centers advocation for inclusion of customer requirements in those activities standing collection and production requirements.
- Actively assist in analyst / collector / collection management partnership forums to support all-source analysts on collection issues.
- Provide oversight of Processing, exploitation, and Dissemination to include ingestion of data into web-based application to support network query.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Intelligence Collection Manager Subject Matter Expert (SME) Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested :
- Current Top Secret clearance and SCI eligible
- Minimum of ten (10) years intelligence / intelligence operations experience within DoD or equivalent Government agencies required, with five (5) years at the operational level.
- Highly proficient in utilizing current intelligence related automation, requirements based applications, tools, and databases to support collection, analytical efforts and product development.
- Shall possess ability to perform all aspects of collection management during routine, contingency, special access program, compartmented projects, operations, and exercises.
- Strong background and firsthand experience are required in Collection Management and / or Intelligence Reporting, including doctrine, policy, procedures, oversight, tactical, theater and national-level coordination.
- In-depth knowledge of systems and capabilities from tactical to strategic-level pertaining to collection and production management
- Ability to plan, coordinate, and oversee the work of intelligence personnel engaged in the intelligence collection management functions.
- Ability to research and provide technical details for any technical intelligence data program or initiative.
- In-depth knowledge of SOF and / or CT intelligence experience
- Excellent briefing and executive level writing skills
- Must possess a valid US passport.
- Must be able to pass all pre-deployment requirements including a medical, dental, psychological, background, credit, and security screens as deemed necessary to be considered deployable.
- Must be able to obtain all required immunizations deemed necessary by the contract.
- Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
