Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our team! In this role you will get to be on the forefront of designing, implementing, and maintaining key wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs) supporting Defensive Cyber Operations.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Participating in SAFe® Agile Mission Deployment teams deploying Defensive Cyber Operations systems and networks, in a SAFe® construct
• Support the installation, implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of agency wide-area networks (WANs) and local-area networks (LANs)
• Assist in designing and managing the WAN infrastructure and any processes related to the WAN. Provide Production Support of the Network, including : day-to-day operations, monitoring and problem resolution client Networks
• Provide second level problem identification, diagnosis and resolution of problems
• Support the dispatch of circuit and hardware vendors involved in the resolution process
• Support the escalation and communication of status to agency management and internal customers
• Strong ability to produce and maintain varied technical documentation
• 100% onsite is required in Colorado Springs, CO

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

• A working knowledge of various software systems and architectures, communications protocols : and network hardware devices
• Experience in a large-scale enterprise network environment spanning multiple data centers with high-availability requirements
• Knowledge of the data lifecycle and data management best practices.
• Demonstrated DevSecOps experience.
• Experience with CI / CD pipelines and associated technology stacks.
• Ability to obtain and hold a Secret clearance
• Must have a Masters Degree in Computer Science / Engineering or other relevant Engineering field from an accredited university with minimum 10 years of experience
• Must have 1 DoD 8570.01 / 8140.03 Certification : CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Cybersecurity Analyst+ (CYSA+), Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional (GISCP), GIAC Security Essentials (GSEC), Certified Network Defender (CND), Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) Security, or Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP)

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

• Top Secret OR interim / active Secret with ability to get Top Secret
• Knowledge of SAFe® Agile best practices.
• Familiarity with Defensive Cyber Operations Concepts

Salary Range :
