Position Overview :
KODA Technologies is seeking a Data Scientist with experience in entity resolution to develop and deploy applications for processing structured and unstructured data into usable data formats for long-term storage, search, and analysis.
Required Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years with BS / BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS / MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD (additional years of experience accepted in lieu of a degree)
- Eight (8) years of experience with languages such as Java, Scala, or Python, used in support of development and production operations
- Experience with Bayesian Statistics
- Experience in data management processing :
- Experience with AWS
Desired Qualifications :
- Be able to differentiate between what is Deduplication, Canonicalisation, and Record Lineage
- Knowledge of language translation experience
- Understand graph algorithms such as connected components
- Experience with search tools - Solr or Elastic Search
- Knowledge of distributed computing is a must - Apache Spark stack
- Have worked in an Agile environment.
- You have worked on teams that practice Agile methodologies.
Clearance :
A current / active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility and the ability to obtain a polygraph.
