WAI, a leading international automotive parts manufacturing and distribution company, is looking for a Customer Service Associate to join our Distribution Center team! The Customer Service Supervisor provides direction to the Customer Service Division by assigning, directing and reviewing work of staff.
Supervisory duties include training, writing, conducting performance appraisals, and assisting in various duties assigned by Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Engages in the typical responsibilities of a supervisor requiring planning, evaluating, organizing, integrating and delegating
- Provides management of employees directly to ensure effective selection, retention, development, disciplinary action and performance management.
- Ensures full compliance with all quality assurance standards, especially good housekeeping and overall cleanliness of products and work areas
- Contains and / or reduces cost and drives productivity within the department
- Cooperates in a cross-functional manner as a change agent with all departments within the Company
- Effectively communicate with Sales Management Team
- Evaluate process improvements
- Overseeing and assessing customer service staff activities, and providing them with regular performance related feedback
- Strategizing and monitoring the daily activities of customer service operations
- Assisting customer service staff with duties where required
- Training staff in areas of customer service and company policies
- Investigating and solving customer service complaints
- Assisting with the development and implementation of service policies, and explaining these to staff and customers
- Maintaining documentation pertaining to customer service department activities
- Other duties as assigned based on business needs or managements request
QUALIFICATIONS ( Education, Experience, & Skills required)
- Education Bachelors Degree or equivalent from four year college or two + years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills and Ability Follows instructions and responds to management direction, general office skills required. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
Must be able to recognize similarities and difference between words and a series of numbers.
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse environment, using standard equipment such as computers, phones, photocopier, camera, and forklift equipment.
