The RoleThe successful candidate must be a computer systems analyst, computer programmer, software engineer or other similarly skilled professional in the computer field performing the duties described in the Main Responsibilities section below.

The application of Network Automation analysis techniques and procedures including consulting with users to determine hardware software or system functional specifications.

The design development documentation analysis creation testing or modification of computer systems programs including prototypes based on and related to user or system design specifications.

The Main ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop and maintain automation solutions for our network infrastructure using Python, Ansible, and other automation toolsDevelop and maintain Python virtual environments and pip requirements for network automationCollaborate with the network team to identify opportunities for automation and design solutions that increase efficiency and reduce manual effortWork with Ansible collections and their underlying Python libraries to automate network tasksDevelop and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for network automationWrite and maintain documentation for automation solutionsTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to network automationProficient in the use of Itential automation platform, IAG, and IAPWhat We Look For in a CandidateBachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related fieldAt least 3 years of experience in network automation or related fieldStrong knowledge of Python programming language and related tools virtual environments pip requirements scripting etc.

Experience of JavascriptExperience with regexExperience with API developmentExperience with working with databasesKnowledge of networking principles protocols and technologies TCPIP VLAN BGP OSPF etcStrong proficiency in bash scripting and familiarity with LinuxFamiliarity with bat and ps1 scripting in WindowsExcellent problem solving skills and ability to work independentlyStrong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred QualificationsExperience with other network automation tools such as Nornir Netmiko or NapalmKnowledge deep understanding and great Experience of IT Software Networking is RequiredOne should have experience of Guiding providing Training to End Users around Network AutomationCompensationThe starting salary for this role differs based on the employee's primary work location.

Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on each individual's qualifications.

Location Based Pay Ranges$111,480 - $148,630 in these states : AR ID KY LA ME MS NE SC SD$117,340 - $156,450 in these states : AL AZ FL GA IA IN KS MO MT ND NM OH OK PA TN UT VT WI WV WY$123,210 - $164,280 in these states : CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI$129,080 - $172,100 in these states : AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WAAs with the pay range variety that's based on the region of a country, specific offers are determined by various factors such as experience, education, skills, certifications and other business needs.

Salary RangeSalary Min : 111480Salary Max : 172100This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.

Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
