Your Role

This role will support the Personal Care category development for the Victoria’s Secret Fine Fragrance Beauty and China Beauty business.

This team leverages 80+ vendors worldwide with approximately $300M in annual spend. A strong analytical skillset and experience in personal care development, sourcing or manufacturing, balanced with the ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships, will be critical for success in this position.

Your Impact

• Develop a clear understanding of the vendor base, vendor capabilities, existing and new supply chains, competitors and functions of the cross functional teams
• Analyzing vendor quotes for new business and communicate award decision
• Clear understanding of decoration, applications, and component execution and development as it applies to costing in the Beauty business
• Facilitate activities with departments such a packaging, design and quality to support long term cost reduction goals
• Utilize SAP / Fiori for Request for Quote (RFQ) and final cost roll
• Process Tooling Authorization (TA) forms to support new launch development
• Analyze and help to mitigate cost increase requests and communicate business impact
• Analyze and develop vendor capabilities for subcategory that are aligned with business requirements
• Interface with brand partners, as well as vendors on costing conversations and be able to provide options / problem solve / cost engineer
• New vendor on-boarding process & completion for subcategory to help support building long term relationships with suppliers
• New Product Development & Launch Excellence for subcategory
• Creating Personal Care pricing tiers
• Assist with various financial reporting objectives specific to the Beauty business costing processes
• Support activities related to accurate system product costing and analytical reporting
• Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing team to ensure support of category strategies
• Manage costing work-flow with Operations to ensure on time purchase orders

Minimum Salary : $73,000.00

Maximum Salary : $97,125.00

Qualifications

Your Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Product Development or related field

2-4 years’ work experience Purchasing, Operations Planning, Package Engineering, and / or Strategic Sourcing positions

• Experience in manufacturing and / or consumer goods / retail preferred
• Solid business acumen and ability to make recommendations and business decisions in partnership with supervisor; strong negotiation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated initiative and ability to achieve results
• Ability to build and foster strong trusted advisor relationships with internal and external partners
• Moderate to high proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Salesforce, or other ERP systems is beneficial
