Our client is actively seeking a Project Manager with expertise in developing and executing cutover plans for go-live deployments.
This is a contract opportunity that is hybrid to downtown Chicago.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Develop comprehensive deployment and cutover plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk management, and contingency planning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, trading, operations, and external vendors, to ensure seamless execution of deployment and cutover activities.
- Manage the end-to-end deployment and cutover process, ensuring minimal disruption to trading operations and adherence to project timelines.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, issues, and resolutions.
- Ensure all deployment and cutover activities are thoroughly documented, including lessons learned and best practices for future projects.
- Ensure all activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, with a focus on deployment and cutover activities in a trading or financial services environment.
