Job Description
A client of Insight Global is looking for a PowerBI Tester to join their team of 8. In this role, you will review and analyze user stories, acceptance criteria, business and system requirements, and technical specifications.
You will develop test scenarios, document test cases, create test data / files, compile test summary documentation, and provide work estimation for testing tasks.
Ensuring the final product meets requirements and end-user expectations is crucial. You will provide cross-functional support to resolve defects and make recommendations to improve overall quality.
Effective communication with management and scrum masters on status and critical issues is essential. You will collect and communicate findings from test results to stakeholders, maintain current knowledge of relevant technology and trends in IT quality assurance, and collaborate with the team to identify risks and mitigation activities.
Additionally, you will recommend and implement corrective actions for unplanned issues, document new processes, and participate in agile meetings.
System testing in AWS using Databricks and participation in special projects are also part of your responsibilities.
Compensation : $38 / hr. 50 / hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelors degree and 3+ years of experience in BI testing
Back-end testing experience in writing and executing SQL queries
Experience manual testing in AWS
Hands on experience in agile development methodology and project planning through JIRA and Confluence
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Healthcare, Claims, Medicare Part D experience
Experience with MicroStrategy
Experience with Snowflake, Python, TestRail, and Databricks
