Job Description
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Associate Manager for a position in Troy, AL to provide technical leadership of the Production Engineering team in the LRSS AUR facilities and reports to Senior Technical Manager of Pike County Operations. Duties include :
Oversight of the design, development and implementation of factory production equipment, manufacturing processes, special tooling, sequence of operations, engineering floor support and production testing.
Provides Manufacturing Engineer supervision, employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, and assignment of engineering tasks.
Ensures all manufacturing operations are in compliance with company command media, engineering requirements and government regulations.

Desired skills
Advanced education with manufacturing experience in ordnance assembly, integration, and test operations.
Experience working with multi-functional teams including members from Quality Assurance, ESH and Ordnance Safety, Facilities Engineering, Production Control & Transportation, Project Engineering and Management and U.
S. Government Customer Representatives.
LM Lean Six Sigma Green / Black Belt certification.
Working knowledge of Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (LM-MFC) production data systems (MES-CAPP, Apriso, SAP), test equipment and tooling hardware and document control.
Experience with design, fabrication, installation, initial calibration, prove-out and maintenance of special tools and equipment, continuous yield improvement activities, root cause and corrective action analysis, cost reduction (affordability) and post-production depot operation activities.
