Job Description : Pricing Analyst (Junior)
Position Overview : We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Junior Pricing Analyst to join our pricing team.
This role will be responsible for analyzing pricing data, conducting market research, and supporting pricing strategies to optimize profitability and competitiveness.

Roles and Responsibilities :
Data Analysis and Pricing Strategy :
- Analyze historical pricing data, market trends, and competitive pricing strategies to recommend optimal pricing strategies.
- Assist in developing and implementing pricing models and methodologies to maximize profitability and market share.
- Conduct pricing simulations and sensitivity analyses to evaluate pricing scenarios and their impact on business outcomes.
Market Research and Competitive Analysis :
- Monitor industry trends, customer behavior, and competitor pricing strategies to identify market opportunities and threats.
- Gather and analyze data from various sources to support pricing decisions and strategy adjustments.
- Prepare competitive intelligence reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.
Performance Tracking and Reporting :
- Track and monitor pricing performance metrics, including pricing effectiveness, margin analysis, and price realization.
- Prepare regular reports and presentations on pricing trends, profitability analysis, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
- Identify areas for improvement and recommend actionable insights based on data-driven analysis.
Cross-functional Collaboration :
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, finance, and product management teams to align pricing strategies with business objectives.
- Support sales teams with pricing proposals, deal analysis, and customer negotiations.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance pricing capabilities and effectiveness.
Process Improvement and Automation :
- Identify opportunities to streamline pricing processes, improve data accuracy, and enhance pricing analytics capabilities.
- Work with IT and operations teams to implement pricing tools, systems, and automation solutions.
- Document pricing policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency and compliance.
Compensation : Compensation for a Junior Pricing Analyst typically includes a base salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, depending on experience, qualifications, and the size of the organization.
