Job Summary

Coordinates and administers the operational activities associated with the delivery of online courses offered equally within the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences (KFSCIS).

• Coordinates the logistics and administrative operations of educational technology initiatives for the delivery of online courses within KFSCIS, including the adoption of new technologies.
• Oversees and manages short and long-range planning for KFSCIS educational technology initiatives. Coordinates efforts between KFSCIS faculty and FIU Online and works closely with key stakeholders, faculty, and staff at all college locations.
• Coordinates with FIU Online on the development and enhancement of online courses in support of the goals and objectives of the Knight Foundation School of Computing and Information Sciences.
• Provides administrative support in the development, implementation, deployment and enhancement of curriculum-based projects.

Works with key stakeholders on curriculum-based initiatives, and coordinates efforts between KFSCIS faculty and FIU Online.

• Provides administrative support in the implementation of distance learning and collaboration systems to facilitate instruction for curriculum and community-based projects via synchronous (video and web conferencing) and asynchronous communication.
• Coordinate the development and scheduling of online courses.
• Evaluates program and analyzes data for quality improvement initiatives. Provides reports on assigned program, initiatives, and efforts.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.

Desired Qualifications

Previous experience working in higher education and online learning.
