Job Summary
Supports the planning, development, and delivery of university-assisted community school strategies and support services for the Unlimited Potential Initiative (UPI) in Miami-Dade County.
This role will identify and connect university and community resources with UPI school sites to address project outcomes in terms of improving student learning, building stronger families, and fostering healthier community outcomes.
- Organizes resources across the project to ensure effective utilization and alignment with project goals.
- Collaborates with partner schools to increase student success measures.
- Shares insights and recommendations with project leadership to enhance program effectiveness.
- Identifies and establishes connections with relevant university resources and departments.
- Attends and participates in the UPI steering committees at the school, regional, and state levels.
- Prepares regular reporting for UPI leadership, school partners and community stakeholders to document the project's impact.
- Organizes informational sessions to provide technical assistance related to community school development and practice.
- Assists with the development and maintenance of resources such as toolkits, guides, and best practice documents to support community school Site Coordinators and educators in the performance of their roles.
- Visits partner sites to ensure alignment with UPI guidelines and the implementation of community school strategies.
- Assists with the planning and coordination of professional development workshops, seminars and trainings for UPI site coordinators and partners.
- Coordinates logistics related to UPI grant activities including the planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with public K-12 school systems.
- Experience counseling and / or advising students.
- Experience working with students from special populations or underrepresented groups such as first-generation, low-income, and students with disabilities.

- Ability to work flexible hours as needed.
