This position will support the accounting processes for Crumbl franchises, in tandem with other accountants and Controllers.
The position will report to the Franchise Controller and is expected to be able to work independently to oversee and accomplish regularly occurring accounting tasks and to be able to communicate needs and issues with the appropriate departments and leaders as needed.
The person who fills this position will need to communicate clearly with accountants and non-accountants alike to fulfill their responsibilities.
This position is in-house at the Lindon, UT headquarters location.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the month, quarter, and annual finance close processes for Crumbl and the consolidated close for the Crumbl family of businesses.
- Support the Controller in developing, implementing, and maintaining strong internal controls.
- Support the Controller in developing, implementing, and maintaining appropriate systems and processes.
- Prepare journal entries, review general ledger accounts, and prepare reconciliations in accordance with US GAAP.
- Work with other accounting team members to accurately record inter-subsidiary transactions.
- Work closely with the controller and the FP&A team to facilitate the generation of financial reports and analyses for internal and external use.
- Work closely with the Expenditure team to support accurate accounting of the A / P and Spend processes.
- Work with the managers of various other departments to properly account for the ever-changing landscape of Crumbl.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or accounting emphasis in business major required.
- Minimum of 3 Years experience accounting experience.
- High level of comfort with accounting software, namely NetSuite.
- High level of proficiency with spreadsheet applications.
- Able communicator, capable of communicating accounting needs to accountants and non-accountants alike to complete tasks.
- Capable of analyzing workload and prioritizing well.
- Familiarity with database management and database normalization, and generally aware of good data practices.
- Capable of learning new software and processes quickly.
- Capable of using MacOS or learning a new operating system quickly.
- Familiarity with sales tax laws, registration, and management.
