Mental Health Tech
- Monitor and document patients' behavior, mental status, and vital signs accurately and in a timely manner.
- Follow established facility and program specific policies and procedures to maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
- Assists patients with activities of daily living; (e.g., bathing, oral hygiene, care of hair, oral feeding, positioning, transfers, etc.)
- Participates in the development and implementation of patient treatment programs.
- Maintains age-appropriate rules and enforces the behavioral management system, including proper conduct of residents during therapy groups, recreation, and education.
- Assist in the implementation and facilitation of individualized care plans, therapeutic activities, daily group programming and other interventions.
- Collaborate with nurses, psychiatrists, pediatricians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques to always maintain patient and staff safety.
Licensure / Certification :
- SAMA Certified or within (30 days of employment)
- Certified BLS
