Third Grade Teacher (Immediate Hire)

Prelude Preparatory School (Prelude Prep) is a new public prep school that opened on the southside of San Antonio in August 2021.

Prelude Prep is a PreK-8th grade school, currently enrolling students in PreK- 5th grade and will grow a grade level each year.

• Reading and English Language Arts. Expeditionary Learning
• Math. Eureka Math (TEKS Edition)
• Science. PhD Science
• Social Studies. Core Knowledge History and Geography
• Social and Emotional. The Caring School Community combined with Play-Based Centers. Your classroom has a block center, dramatic play center (kitchen, dress up), sand / water table, art center, and toys and games center.
• Civic Education . You facilitate a school-wide approach to civic education, including working with students in the Growing for Giving Garden, community service projects, and town hall meetings for students.

Your Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Previous teaching experience and / or EC-6 Generalist Certification, Bilingual Certification, Core Content with ESL Supplemental Certification, or Special Education Supplemental certification is highly preferred but not required.
• Can pass a criminal background check
