The Process engineer will support daily extrusion operations, assisting with equipment maintenance, changeovers, troubleshooting, and training.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance with Quality, Health & Safety, and Continuous Improvement policies
- Monitor SOCs and process controls; document changes and communicate with the Supervisor
- Track regrind percentages and implement waste reduction strategies
- Perform tooling setups, changeovers, and startups
- Develop systems to address process / tooling variances
- Conduct inspections and maintain spare tooling records
- Train new hires and participate in preventative maintenance
Required Skills :
- Basic computer skills and understanding of SPC
- Familiarity with inspection techniques
- Associate's Degree or higher in Engineering or related field
- 2+ years of extrusion processing experience
