SPED QUALIFICATIONS
- Masters Degree in Special Education
- Special Education state certification
- Compassionate, kind and patient
SPED Description
- Identify the individual needs of each child and create a healthy, inspiring and supportive learning environment.
- Prepare, execute and assess the students’ work done in class.
- Collaborate with the Class Teacher and Lead Teacher.
- Update parents on their kids’ progress and giving recommendations to promote a better learning at home.
- Use special tools and equipment provided to stimulate an interesting learning experience
Details :
- Caseload : 10 - 12 students
- Hours : 8 : 30 a.m. - 3 : 25 p.m.
- Assignment Period / Length of Contract : 1 year
- Scope of Responsibility : 6th / 8th Co-Taught (Math)
- Requirements : SPED teaching license in IL + PEL cert + willing to complete Faith's Law document (onboarding paperwork)
