Currently we have an exciting opportunity with our Work Ready program as a Staff Development Instructor . Work Ready provides a comprehensive set of employment-oriented services to those receiving Public Assistance benefits, including those who are in need of specific help managing barriers to self-sufficiency.
This role, located in our center city office, offers flexibility and a hybrid environment, including 3 days each week on-site and 2 days remote.
This position is full time, 35 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Promote clients’ active participation in all classroom activities; provide client constructive feedback for each session.
- Act as a liaison between instructional team and Work Ready staff in matters relating to Customer service and team building.
- Provide input into the design of assessment and evaluation tools in the measurement of internal outcomes (i.e., staff morale, job satisfaction & staff retention.
- Assist with the design, deliver, and manage interactive experiential learning activities in a classroom environment.
- Teach and facilitate the learning of skills in resume development, online and paper job application, interviewing and job keeping.
- Prepare creative lesson plans and learning materials for life skills and job search through use of various mixed media approaches.
- Provide known job leads to participant and assist in application.
Skills & Requirements :
- Master’s Degree preferred or bachelor’s degree in adult education or related field.
- 2 years of experience as an instructor in an educational, human service, or other equivalent training
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.

The base pay for this position ranges from $42,000 to $50,000 and will vary based on factors such as skills and experience.
