PURPOSE
The Procurement Associate will provide support to the Procurement Team with various purchasing activities, ensuring the project remains on track.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are typical for this job. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.
- Providing support to the Procurement team, including, but not limited to :
- Performing parts kitting and maintaining kitting schedule
- Attending weekly scheduling meeting for kitting updates
- Assisting with material tracking by utilizing the Warehouse Management System
- Assisting with RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) requests by monitoring requests, processing returns, confirming vendor credits, tracking and reporting discrepancies and maintaining the RMA log
- Supporting the receiving and posting of material
- Serve as backup for ordering and expediting materials as needed
- Attending Procurement Team meetings
- Updating the Procurement Team Leader with any issues or concerns
MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED TO PERFORM ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Associate’s degree or pursuing an Associate’s degree in Business or related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Knowledge of Blue Beam (PDF Reader)

ENVIRONMENTAL ADAPTABILITY
- Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, reaching
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to reach, bend, stretch, kneel and crouch
- Ability to work in a variety of temperature and weather conditions in a warehouse environment
