Job Description
Product Management - Manages assigned, elementary Personal Lines Property underwriting product. This includes managing overall P&L, forecasting revenue, and developing product strategy, pricing, product bundling, and enhancement opportunities to drive sales and growth.
Will be responsible for developing internal and external facing product materials, user guides, and training documents. Will be responsible for developing relevant and detailed management reports to manage and influence sales, revenue growth, and customer level performance.
- Product Support - Responsible for supporting assigned Personal Lines Property underwriting product(s). This includes researching and resolving customer, product, finance, and technical issues and collaborating with colleagues in product, sales, finance, information technology, and operations to ensure effective delivery of Verisk's capabilities and messaging.
- Sales Support - Support the Sales organization with product materials, training, meeting support (SME), go-to-market messaging, proposals, and competitive information.
Will also be involved with helping with prospective client testing and new client onboarding. This will vary from customer to customer working closely with the Operations team.
- Research and Industry Involvement Is expected to be proficient in the Personal Lines Property insurance industry. This will require ongoing participation in industry events and conferences, competitive research, collaboration with business partners and 3rd party suppliers, and engagement with customers
- Assigned Personal Lines Property insurance product task list : Increasing year over year revenue through new customer sales growth, existing customer usage growth, and new products and featuresOverall product P&L management prioritize work to drive profit and revenue growth, support finance budget and forecasting processes (revenue and expense planning), conduct cost benefit analyses on strategic initiativesOversee financial performance of products - complete duties such as sales and implementation pipeline management, revenue forecasting, and existing customer performance reviewsPartner with Sales team to provide customer meeting support, compelling product proposals, and product pricingPartner with Marketing on go-to-market product messaging, collateral development, campaignsPartner with Operations on customer proof of concept tests and implementationsPartner with IT to manage development needs and roadmapsProvide new customer implementation supportListen and respond to market needs and Voice of the Customer

Qualifications
- A four-year bachelor’s degree in Insurance, Risk Management, Actuary, Business Administration, or related discipline. Advanced degree or insurance designations (, CPCU) is preferred.
- 3-5 years Personal Lines Property insurance experience with demonstrated track record in underwriting, product management or product development within an insurance company, industry 3rd party underwriting data vendor, or related.
- Strong familiarity with the Personal Lines Property insurance market, including underwriting practices and workflows, various distribution channels, risk data, rating processes and variables, and Verisk or other 3rd party underwriting solutions.
- Strong analytic aptitude. Must be able to assess and address complex business problems as well as understand detailed customer workflows to identify business opportunities for Verisk solutions across the policy lifecycle.
- Highly motivated with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, revenue generating environment.
- Strong oral and written communication skills and professional demeanor. Must be able to communicate on a business and technical level with all levels of management, including Senior Executives internally and across the industry.

- Experience with gathering and assessing competitive intelligence.
- Ability to travel periodically (, 10-20% of the time) to Verisk offices, customers, business partners, and industry events.
