Position Summary :
The Marketing Communications Manager supports internal clients in achieving business goals, crafting and implementing strategic plans, leveraging inbound marketing techniques for traffic and lead generation, and overseeing various digital marketing channels to ensure alignment with the parent organization's objectives.
Location :
Olathe, KS or Omaha, NETravel is required at least 25% of the time
Education :
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or another field
Experience :
2-5 years’ experience in marketing and content creation
Preferred Experience / Skills :
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; writing experience ranging from writing long-form articles to social posts
- Creative thinker with strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to change
- Project management skills; organized and detail-oriented to manage projects with many moving parts
- Proficiency in digital marketing tactics including social media management, SEO, and email marketing software to generate traffic and convert visitors into leads
- Bonus skills : Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
Licensure / Certification :
- Valid drivers license
- Valid Auto Insurance
- At least 21 years old
Essential Duties :
- Develop relationships with internal business unit partners, including meeting regularly and reporting on agreed metrics
- Create and execute strategic marketing and communication plans that are aligned to business goals and metrics
- Assist in building and managing a rich content / editorial calendar that attracts a qualified audience to our owned properties
including website, blog posts, social media posts, eBooks, webinars, infographics, etc.)
- Grow new leads by converting site traffic through calls to action, landing pages and lead generation strategies
- Launch and maintain robust email marketing programs and organically build email lists through high performing content
- Create or source the production of print collateral, graphics, infographics, photos, videos, etc.
- Identify problems and gaps in the marketing funnel and devise solutions
- Manage, appropriately prioritize and execute multiple projects with various needs, deadlines, stakeholders, etc.
- Become a content expert in the organization’s fields of work such as mental health treatment and child welfare
- Contribute creative ideas to help achieve key business goals
