Position at EssenceMediacom OVERVIEW : The Associate Director of Media Operations is responsible for the Operational and Financial activities associated with the assigned account.

This role focuses on development, management and application of process and systems. The position reports into the overall Media Operations team, is visible across all media disciplines, working closely with key U.

S. stakeholders internally and externally and potentially globally if applicable. The ability to streamline processes, ensure accuracy, and keep an eye on automation to improve efficiencies are important to this role. YOUR IMPACT :

  • Record, monitor, and manage monthly client billing across all media, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting
  • Coordinate pre-billing checks and balances across all media, working closely with planning and buying teams
  • Lead team with the evaluation of quarterly, actual, and on-going projections
  • Compile and manage all reporting needs across assigned client, including but not limited to competitive, budget roll-ups, and accruals
  • Generate strong knowledge of client’s business, competition, and latest industry news and trends and compile learnings for client distribution
  • Centralize process and procedures with over-sight and development of team playbook
  • Manage internal flowcharting tool, ensuring taxonomy, uniform entry of all campaigns, and actualizations
  • If applicable collaborate with global operations team, compiling all U.S. reporting deliverables Develop and maintain strong relationships with key client stakeholders
  • Stay connected with larger Media Operations COE team for alignment and ensure our processes and procedures are best in class
  • Collect measurement reports from partners, working closely with Analytics team to ensure timely completion of client deliverables
  • Create uniform templates to streamline deliverables and create efficiencies
  • Engage with Finance team to manage billing codes and invoice requirements
  • Support planning team with any ad-hoc client and agency operational and financial requests
  • Other responsibilities as assigned

  • Advanced Excel skills; intermediate PowerPoint and Microsoft Word skills

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 6-8 years’ related experience working at a media agency or client side
  • Prior experience managing a team
  • BA, BS minimum

The base salary for this position at the time of this posting may range from $75,000 to $180,000. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including business needs, experience, level of responsibility and qualifications.
