About the Role :

This job focuses on the creation and overall quality of our products at the restaurant. Our Artisan line cook will assist the Lead Line Cook and keep the kitchen environment running smoothly and efficiently providing the very best dishes for every guest.

Salary Range : $17.50 - $ 23.00 + tips (Part-time or Full-Time Opportunity)

Location : Fountain Valley, CA (Onsite)

Primary Responsibilities :

• Perform routine preparation according to established operational policies and procedures
• Assist in ensuring a clean, safe, and well-organized workspace (kitchen and storage) and restaurant
• Prepare and set up stations and kitchen area for service
• Cook and assemble breakfast items quickly and efficiently, with a focus on detail and quality
• Follow food and restaurant safety standards and guidelines
• Attention to detail in food / service quality and cleanliness
• Ensure that products are prepared according to company specifications and local health regulations
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures, including security, handling equipment, etc. (first in, first out)
• Report to work at the prescribed time for each scheduled shift and to fulfill the job requirements for the duration of the shift
• Communicate effectively and proactively with management and team members
• Perform all work-related tasks as assigned by your supervisor

Qualifications :

• One year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen preferred but not required
• Understanding of posted work rules, procedures and food safety
• Capability of working collaboratively to meet store needs
• Able to commit at least 1 year to position
• Well-organized, self-motivated, and positive team attitude
• Willingness to have a focus on cooking and providing excellent service
• Proficiency in basic math skills
• Competency to follow directions from management
• Ability to receive and build upon constructive criticism in a professional manner
• Flexibility to perform many different tasks within the store during each shift
• Capacity to learn quickly, carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed
• Ability to maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Hand-stretched pizza experience is a plus!
• Currently Enrolled or graduated from a culinary arts program preferred but not required

Physical Requirements :

• Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and walking
• Must be able to regularly lift at least 60 lbs.
