Job Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Directorof Finance to oversee all financial activities includingbookkeeping financial reporting and strategic planning.
The idealcandidate will have a strong background in using QuickBooks andwill be responsible for preparing all financial reports includingProfit and Loss (P&L) statements and monthly reportingpackages.
KeyResponsibilities :
- Financial Management
- Oversee andmanage the companys financial operations.
- Develop and implement financial policies procedures andstrategies.
- Ensure compliance with allfinancial regulations and standards.
- Bookkeeping
- Maintain accurate anduptodate financial records.
- Manage all aspectsof bookkeeping using QuickBooks including accounts payable andreceivable payroll and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate invoicing andpayments.
- Financial Reporting
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports including P&Lstatements and monthly reporting packages.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends variances andopportunities for improvement.
- Presentfinancial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
- Budgeting and Forecasting
- Developand manage the annual budget and financial forecasts.
- Monitor financial performance against budget and providevariance analysis.
- Recommend correctiveactions as necessary to achieve financial objectives.
- Audit and Compliance
- Coordinate andoversee internal and external audits.
- Ensureaccurate and timely completion of all auditrequirements.
- Maintain proper documentationand records for audit purposes.
- TeamLeadership
- Lead and mentor the finance teamproviding guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and highperformance workenvironment.
- Conduct regular performanceevaluations and provide feedback.
Qualifications :
- Education : Bachelors degree in FinanceAccounting or a related field. MBA or CPA preferred.
- Experience : Minimum of 35 years of experience withQuickBooks and a strong background in bookkeeping and financialreporting.
Skills :
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Office Suite(Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Excellent analyticaland problemsolving skills.
- Strong attention todetail and accuracy.
- Ability to communicatecomplex financial information clearly and effectively.
- Strong organizational and timemanagementskills.
- Proven ability to work independentlyand as part of a team
