Restaurant Host / Hostess / Greeter is generally offered as a part time restaurant job.Prior experience as host, hostess, greeter, maitre d, matradee, maitres d, or other part time restaurant job highly desirable.
Requirements / Responsibilities Requirements : Host / Hostess / Greeter : - Some experience is preferred, but we will train the right person also.
- A warm and outgoing personality with a passion for food and customer service.- Must have a commitment to deliver a unique and memorable guest experience.
- Punctual, patient, and mindful. - Fluent in English and proficiency in other languages is a plus.- Familiarity with OpenTable is a plus.
Responsibilities : - Greeting and seating Guests in timely manner- Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume times to accurately set guest expectations- Assisting in cleaning, clearing, and resetting tables for our next guests- Performing opening and closing duties- Monitoring table rotations.
Keeping track of prepared tables for new guests.- Answering the phone, taking reservations, and in some cases managing take-out orders.
