Key Responsibilities
Lead the preparation of Regulatory Flexibility Act analyses and cost-benefit evaluations
Review fisheries management action documents for compliance with relevant statutes and executive orders
Conduct and interpret economic analyses using NOAA fisheries datasets and provide actionable economic advice
Required Qualifications
Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in Economics or a related field
7+ years of applied economics or policy analysis experience, with 3-5+ years in federal regulatory or fisheries management work
Experience in preparing Regulatory Flexibility Act analyses and cost-benefit evaluations
Proficiency with statistical and analytical software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS, or Python)
Skilled in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office Suite for collaborative work and analysis
