JOB SUMMARY :
We are seeking a Medical Assistant in our Behavioral Neurology Admin Team located in Durham, NC.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Enter data into Maestro
- Compiling packets for patients and assist patients with completing memory packets
- Prep room for next patient
- Other assigned clinical duties
JOB ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
- Graduation from accredited Medical Assistant program strongly preferred.
- High School diploma or GED graduation required
- Work generally requires six months of experience in the healthcare setting. Education in a health related field can be used as a substitute for the experience.
- Must be fully certified as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NHA-CCMA, NCMA or ARMA) within 18 months of hire.
JOB HOURS :
The schedule for this position is day shifts.
